Non-Negotiable Rules of Engagement Structure is important for something like this, to ensure everyone has a mutually great experience we have to get on the same page as each other.
1: Be Nice Don’t be a jerk. It’s really simple. Treat others (and their time) with respect.
2: Don’t Break Stuff Seriously though, be careful with things like vintage clothing, backdrops, furniture, equipment, etc.
3: Keep Your Politics at Home Nobody cares what your politics are. We don’t discriminate on things like political affiliation, race, sex, gender, religion and other beliefs. We can get along and keep all of that stuff at home. Discrimination will not be tolerated under any circumstance. Disclaimer: Even if we have the same beliefs/politics, we still don’t care to hear about them while at these events.
4: Image Delivery Technically, this isn’t something that we can actually enforce, but this group is only a group when the photographers deliver images in a way that other participants, vendors, and sponsors can easily download and use. This is what makes these shoots worth participating in for all involved.
5: Event Ratings (IMPORTANT) This one is important. Think of these events like movies and television shows. Every piece of content as has rating that tells you what to expect from it as far as things like nudity and drug usage goes. Not all events will carry the same rating. Certain events will focus strictly on creativity in the “cleanest” sense while others will allow more “revealing” themes such as boudoir and nudity. Those events don’t require boudoir and/nudity to be clear, that part is completely optional.
6: Consent Every participant must sign a waiver for the event as well as a model release form with each photographer that they work with, these are expected to taken care of by no later than the night before and forwarded to info@zakkshane.com for the sake of accountability. A different waiver MUST be signed in order to do any sessions involving boudoir or nudity. We will provide this waiver. You will be asked to leave without question if these waivers are not completed. These themes MUST BE DISCUSSED BEFORE HAND.
